Your First Visit

Thank you for your interest in Warren Orthodontics. We look forward to meeting you. In the meantime, we'd like to give you some information regarding your first visit. Below you will find a description of the first visit (initial exam) as well as possible subsequent visits.

Initial Exam & Consultation

This complimentary appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and what you'd like to accomplish with your smile. At your first visit to our office, diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. Diagnostic records typically include a review of your medical/dental history, a comprehensive clinical examination, digital X-rays, and photos of the patient's face and teeth. Dr. Warren will use this information to develop a custom treatment plan for you. These records are helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.

After Dr. Warren has evaluated your records, we will discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your treatment. Dr. Warren and his staff will make sure all of your questions are answered. This appointment takes about an hour.

We can take impressions of your teeth at this appointment so your treatment can begin as soon as possible.

Regular Appointments

The appointment to get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes from 1 to 2 hours. You'll then see us at regular intervals 4 to 10 weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 40 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us promptly.

Payment & Office Policies

Cost

The cost depends on the extensiveness of the patient's orthodontic treatment. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have several payment plans to suit your budget. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.

Fees

In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:

• If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. (If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.)
• To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months.
• For your convenience, we accept payment by check, Visa and Mastercard.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
